After upgrade Virtualbox on MacOS Monterey to version 7.0.10, my Windows 7 guest vm runs super slow.
I have tried many solutions and without success.
Can anyone help please?

Have you run any other 7.0 versions on this Mac?christiancwc wrote: ↑8. Aug 2023, 11:54 After upgrade Virtualbox on MacOS Monterey to version 7.0.10
BTW, zipped logs almost always fit, which makes splitting the logs unnecessary.

I'm sorry, I meant, have you run any other Virtualbox 7.0 versions besides 7.0.10?

@christiancwc
VirtualBox 7.x uses Apples built-in hypervisor. Since you are on Monterey, you may be better off running VirtualBox 6.1.46 which will give better performance.
Monterey still allows kernel extensions (kexts) to be installed, although with a warning that they are deprecated. Also, support for VirtualBox 6.1.x ceases at the end of this year so that may be another factor to consider.

ok, it seems like the problem of hypervisor on MacOS, I found the green turtle was on even tried to create a new guest VM.
I will try the older version of Virtualbox and get back to you if it works again.
Thank you!

It will be. AIUI VirtualBox 7 can't run any other way on MacOS. It doesn't support older versions of MacOS, i.e. no fallback to earlier hypervisors and kexts.christiancwc wrote: ↑9. Aug 2023, 08:57 ok, it seems like the problem of hypervisor on MacOS, I found the green turtle was on
