"Drag and drop" and "copy/paste" are two unrelated features. Which feature are you asking about?

Also, we need a zipped VM log.

You mention two features right in the topic title, so there is nothing obvious about which one you wanted to talk about.

I have no idea what you mean by "the only able to be setted in devices". As I already said, "drag and drop" and "copy/paste" are two separate and unrelated features, either or both of which can be independently enabled in the VM settings.

And I still do not see the zipped VM log I asked for. The discussion can't proceed until it appears.

....
00:00:55.153705 VMMDev: Guest Log: Service 'draganddrop' started
00:00:55.153731 VMMDev: Guest Log: All services started
....
00:01:55.943596 (last log line)
All Guest additions services started by 55 seconds, and no mention of shared clipboard or drag-n-drop was logged until the log abruptly ended at 1:55, a minute later.

Did you attempt to use either of shared clipboard or drag-n-drop in that minute?

I don't see any references to drag-n-drop being used after the services all start at 27 seconds. Could be a bug, possibly from slightly-behind Guest Additions? I don't know enough of the source code to know if there was a major change in these services.

Forum gurus might see something in the log, let's wait a day or two, then we'll see if something can be pointed out.

about guest additions you remember that the newest 7.08 are buggy for guest vm win xp causing a black screen on start...so as for yr suggestion i'm using the 7.06 vers of GAs
ASYK since the issue of win 10, so many years ago,
seems ,surfing the web , that really no one has been able to use drag n drop from
host win 10
to
guest win xp
so this is a bug that afflicts of also the past vb version
and seems not ever fixed up to newest,7.06 or 7.08

Yes, that is the case now.

Drag-n-Drop seems to have had issues for a while. Most forum gurus have not bothered using it and use Virtualbox Shared Folders or real shared folders instead.

You can post a Bugtracker if you'd like to.

This problem was about drag-n-drop. You're asking about clipboard. So you don't have the same problem. Or you asked about it in a non-understandable way.

I don't recognize version numbers like "7/23" for either Virtualbox or Kali. "7/23" could be a date, or maybe an autocorrect gone awry?

Please start a new topic, clearing up these questions, and we'll see what we can do for you.
