I am using the Developer preview for macOS / Arm64 (M1/M2) hosts on a MacBook Air M2. I've set up an Ubuntu VM, but when running and selecting "try or install ubuntu", the following error is returned:
"A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped."
My VM log :

Please see M1/M2 Mac 7.0 Beta Status.
XP is the latest Windows OS reported working on the M1/M2 beta. More modern Windows won't run. Similar limits in Linux.
