Connection issue to UOS server
Hi,
My current guest running UOS server, does not have the proper connection to the outside, while it is having NAT to the network setup. How to resolve this?

Re: Connection issue to UOS server
- Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. Zip the VM's .vbox file (not the .vbox-prev file), and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab. (Configure your host OS to show all extensions if the folder that opens does not show a .vbox file.)
- Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state.
- In both host and VM OS's, run the correct command from the following in the Command Prompt or Terminal:
ipconfig /all
ifconfig
ip address
Post the outputs, label which is which. - In both host and VM OS's, ping 8.8.8.8. Post the outputs, label which is which.
- Shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. In the "Logs" subfolder, zip the VM's "vbox.log", and post the zip file, using the forum's Attachments tab. (Configure your host OS to show all extensions so you can find the "vbox.log", not "vbox.log.1", etc.)

Re: Connection issue to UOS server
Thanks for the log. It shows that the VM's network "cable" is not connected:
In the VM's Network settings, under the network adapter's Advanced dropdown, check the "Cable Connected" box. Then see if the VM gets network access. You might have to reboot the VM.00:00:04.749775 CableConnected <integer> = 0x0000000000000000 (0)

Re: Connection issue to UOS server
Hi,
I have no problem to Ubuntu VM. What can be the reason of the current UOS VM issue?
