I think i have the same problem.
I have a MacBook Pro 2017 with Ventura 13.4 and I updated virtualbox to version 7.0.8. I installed the latest version iso of Kali and the screen became slow and smoothness (see attachment).
I've tried changing all the settings of both the VM and Virtualbox, I installed the virtualbox extensions pack, I've also tried uninstalling the Virtualbox and the VM, but nothing has changed. So I tried installing the latest Debian ISO and I noticed it had the same problem.
After that I installed a simple iso DVWA-1.0.7 with command line only and the problem was not there.
I've been going crazy for a day without finding a solution, maybe there's some bug?
