EFI Ubuntu issue on VB 708/OS 13.3.1

Hi everyone,

I run into the guru meditation issue after upgrading to 13.3/13.3.1 which caused issues with some of my VMs.

Now after the release of 7.0.8 I was hoping that everything is working as expected again but my (u)efi ubuntu VMs are all acting very strange.
Whenever I'm going to start those they are very laggy and show a very slow display information. Comparing to other, normal ubuntu VMs on my mac as well they are still working without any issues - they have the same settings expect the are not using efi :/

Did anyone else have the same issue?

I did a short screen recording to show the issue - beside the very slow display, it is also not accepting/recognising any keyboard input. If it is passing grub it get's stuck somewhere so I'm no even able to access it via ssh to get some data :/

Has anyone else a similar behaviour / idea what I could do to fix the VMs?

Oh thanks. I was checking the forum regularly but I missed that this is still an ongoing issue affecting efi machines.

The issue seems to be fixed with the recent test build:
7.0.x revision 157071
