Hello, I have a
guest: Windows 7 64 bit
host: windows 10 64bit
on virtualBox 7
I need to use Win7 in seamless mode, I just have a problem in the windows 7 taskbar.
When I maximize a window in windows 10, the windows 7 taskbar gets covered (below the window).
Which complicates users.
Is it normal behaviour? or is there a way to make the taskbar always visible?

Yes. The Seamless VM is really a Virtualbox window with no title bar and a transparent background, so the host desktop shows through. The VM window is subject to all Windows window behaviors, including getting completely covered by a maximized host window.flako wrote:When I maximize a window in windows 10, the windows 7 taskbar gets covered (below the window)....

Hello, I solved it with http://www.mthings.net/omaxmax.php?lang=ang.
It works fine on host=win10 and guest=win7

Interesting solution. You're using a 3rd-party app to force host windows to maximize smaller so they don't cover the VM's taskbar, apparently. Glad you found something that works!
