Run dual screen seamless mode?

Post by Mac_Guy »

I have OSX 10.5 host, I have two screens, my secondary screen on my macbook and my 22" acer. Guest OS is Ubuntu. I have installed guest additions. I run it in seamless mode, is there a way that i can stretch seamless across both screens so I can have windows that aren't super necessary to my left on my macbook screen and what I'm working on (terminal mostly) is on my primary screen?

Unfortunately, no.

Although, I have only been using VB for a few months Seamless Mode is one reason I have been using it instead of VMWare. In my testing on multi-head system Seamless Mode only works on a Desktop. I happen to have my desktop configured as a BigDesktop which merges the two screens into one desktop. In this situation it will allow seamless mode to 'stretch' to the other screen.
