Host: Mac OSX 10.5.6
Virtual OS: Windows XP SP3
Virtual Box version: 2.1.0
One of the softwares I need uses Aladdin USP key to initiate and run properly.
As soon as I install the HASP drivers -- I get a blue screen in Windows XP (very briefly) and then the virtual box restarts.
I am not sure what I need to do to fix this problem. I absolutely need this software to run and it cannot run unless I install the HASP drivers properly.
Can someone please help me?
I found some support of virtualbox.org; however, it did not seem to help anything.
Thanks to all in advance.

Aladdin HASP Key (USB) installation crashes
Hi!
I had exactly the same problem with the Hardlock-Stick in our office. I found out that deinstalling all drivers for the stick and reinstalling older drivers (ftp://ftp.aladdin.com/pub/aladdin.de/ha ... ldrv32.zip) works, not 100% though, because it crashes sometimes too.
I've read somewhere, activating VT-x in Virtualbox should solve the problem at least on Windows-Hosts, but this doesnt work here.
Another problem is, that OSX seems to acccess the USB-key too, maybe because we have Software installed which needs a second USB-Key by Aladdin. So I have to unplug and replug the stick, while the right USB-Filter options are set in VirtualBox. This is a big problem, if Virtualbox needs to be restartet, while using it via RDP remotely from home. I cannot tell OSX to release the USB-Stick, so VirtualBox can access it again.
Any ideas?
