How do I move the image of a VM from an enisting VM to a new one?

I have 15.9 GB available on 125.0 GB total. That is the whole system. On the Home Folder, things look worse somehow. with the Disk Usage Analyzer showing a solid red bar image. Anyway, I fear I might be on the path to running out of space and I should have set it up for 300 or 400 gb Heard drive space.

So this leads me to this question. If I make a brand new blank VM, how to I save and move the image of my current VM to it? I have a lot of work I do not want to redo.
