SB16 Emulation not working with OS/2

the SB16 emulation of VirtualBox 6.x. does not work correctly with OS/2. The sound card is visible and can be accessed, but playing any sound stops prematurely after half a second or even less. Sounds shorted than this time are not played at all.

Does this happen with all 6.x.x releases, i.e. 6.0.0, 6.0.2, 6.0.4 and 6.0.6?
What if you revert to 5.2.28?

Hello,

I did not use version 6.0.0, but 6.0.2 and 6.0.4 had the same problem.

With version 5.2.28 sound playback is not 100% perfect, but it is /much/ better than in 6.x. While 6.x only plays a small part from the beginning of each sound, playback is nearly complete with 5.2.28 cutting just a (very) small part at the end.

Can you please try with 6.0.0? It may seem trivial, but if the developers know that this is a 6.x issue and not a 6.0.0 -> 6.0.2 issue, it helps a lot...

I've tried version 6.0.0 today and it has the same problem as versions 6.0.2 to 6.0.6.

JFTR: This issue was present until version 6.1.22 and was fixed with version 6.1.24.
