Networking on Vista Host

Post by Vipul »

Hi All,
I was using XP-SP2 and VMWare but had to change the enviornment as per the company's need.
Now I have Vista Business (Windows 6.0.6001_SP1) and I have VirtualBox 2.0.4 installed. Also I have a XP guest and I'm having some network issues as follows.

- Currently the network is configured as NAT but I have to use the bridge mode (as VMWare does).
- No host interfaces are in the "Host Interfaces" box and when I try to create, gives an error "E_FAIL (0x80004005)".
- Also there in no additional network devices in the device manager or additional network connections like VMVare.

Note that I'm new to both Vista and VirtualBox. Anybody's help is greately appriciated.

Regards,
-Vipul.
