Hi all,
found myself in a new situation, using VirtualBox 6.0.14 created a new VM with RAW disk (on top of LVM ) based in VMDK file, after installed OS, and made some snapshots. At the end with the GUI removed the snapshot and thinking all was now using the RAW LVM partition started to use the VM. But the VM was really slow and found it using too much disk ... but the wrong disk
So investigation found on the GUI no snapshots:
But on the Disk was found snapshots :
Also "vboxmanage showvminfo VM", reports:
"SATA (0, 0): /..../VM/Snapshots/{b9bfb67e-d4b9-42f1-a820-c663c4d7f86d}.vmdk (UUID: b9bfb67e-d4b9-42f1-a820-c663c4d7f86d)"
Points directly to snapshot with no reference to the RAW Disk
And "vboxmanage snapshot VM list", reports:
"This machine does not have any snapshots"
Now my question is, how do I see snapshot breakdown and start to remove and consolidate the snapshots into the original RAW disk ?
Any one knows ?
Thank you in advance.
