Front page still shows 6.0.10 as latest

As the title says, the latest version on the front page is 6.0.10, while 6.0.12 is there already for a few days.

Well, I got notified by VB that it needed to install the extension package 6.0.12 as my computer had automatically installed 6.0.12 from the repository.
That was the point where I became curious

So I decided to take my computer's life in my hands and try BasMevissen's "virtalbox.org" - note no 'u'. It's a common kind of landing template for domains that aren't sold yet, not a real attempt to undermine virtualbox.org. Seen them before, not really a problem.

The domain _is_ registered by someone to make use / abuse typing mistakes. And there is no guarantee that there is no script running to see if it can infect your computer...
"unsold" domains are domains where someone payed money for to register and gain money from... (even if is from ads shown)

It looks that 2 days after their registration as a Registar, Linode LLC registered the misspelled domain, and who knows how many else. There's a clue from the IP and the DNS server, but who knows how many pairs they have. Typical case of Typosquatting, I hate that, I hope they run out of money and die a peaceful painful company death!
