[Fixed] VM Crashed

Post by VirtualBox_2019 »

I created my image in the release of 6.0.4. It is now 6.0.10. Everything works fine for the exception of one thing after upgrading to the latest Guest Addition. When I navigate in Windows Explorer to a certain path on a shared/mapped drive, it would crash the VM. It is consistent every time I navigate to the same folder path. Is there a work around for this?

See ticket #18766: 6.0.10 r132072 crashes Windows VM when Shared Folders are used.

It's fixed with 6.0.11 r132480 or later. Take a look at the Known Issues in the "Discuss the 6.0.10 release" post.

Thank You for that. I installed Guest Addition 6.0.11 from the ISO and that fixed it, at least it seems like it. It was crashing on folders where there are EXE. The EXE is a JAVA update.

Strange huh?
