[Solved] Unable to Install Debian on Windows 10 VB

I have tried several times to install Debian 10 on Windows 10 using virtualbox, but fail. An error of

Failed to partition the selected disk. free space is too small to be automatically partitioned.

during the installation process every time.

I have use a Debian 10 Live and Debian net install iso image.

The error message is coming from within the guest, not VirtualBox. And it seems quite clear to me, you don't have enough space in your guest's virtual HD. From a quick look at the log, you've only allocated 8 GB to your guest, that's not enough.

Delete the VM, including all its files, create a new VM and give it at least 20 GB of hard space.

For future reference you should ZIP and attach the log files here, locally.

Well, that was odd. I had chosen 20GB at one point and received the same error message. I tried again and gave it 25GB and it works this time. Thank you.
