Linux Mint Host, Windows 7 Guest: Good Webcam For Passthrough?

Post by Korvas »

I will be doing some conferencing in Windows, and I would like some suggestions for webcams that work well with VBox under the above conditions. The Windows 7 machine I have in mind has the latest guest additions installed and USB 3.0 enabled. Please advise, thanks.

I don't think that it really matters, if we're talking about a standard webcam. I have two Logitech ones C170 and C270 and they both work fine. The C270 is more "advanced", being a later model and all.
