Does your question have anything to do with the VirtualBox API, or is it a generic question? I need to know so that I can treat it accordingly.

In order to better understand the problem you need to submit some more information. Please read the following: Minimum information needed for assistance.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Definitely not API related. Moved to "Using VirtualBox" until we get more info about the setup.

And there was some more information added, albeit in a different post, the one with the log. Merged them with the original, borderline duplicate...

IMHO, this is a question of invalid expectations. The guest is Win95 running on one core, the 16bit base layers not handling multitasking at all well. So by definition any kind of workload is going to cause lag - which is exactly what happened on real hardware back in the day.

Sadly this is not because of Windows 95, this is because of bugs inside VirtualBox ticket/19834
