I am using OSX 10.14.5 host, VirtualBox 6.0.8, and Fedora 30 guest. I just completely updated the guest and re-installed the Guest Additions. But I'm still getting the popup box which states "Running in software rendering mode". In the past when I have gotten this message it's because my guest additions are not properly updated. The guest is running kernel 5.1.8-300, 64-bit. I'm using the Cinnamon desktop manager. Should I just be waiting for an update with VirtualBox? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
Eric

[Solved] Re: VirtualBox 6.0.8, Fedora 30, "Running in software rendering mode"
After further exploration of the settings, I noticed a new setting for the Graphics Controller. I set this to "VMSVGA" and the software rendering message went away.
