I have an embedded development board that presents a USB mountable filesystem when plugged in, and MacOS (Mojave v10.14) duly mounts it.
The problem is that if I ask MacOS to unmount the filesystem, it automatically re-mounts a few moments later, and thus prevents my Windows image running under VirtualBox from gaining access to the USB.
Is there an easy fix for this?
Prevent Mac from stealing USB mount?

Re: Prevent Mac from stealing USB mount?
Add a USB filter for the board.
