Are you trying to install VirtualBox 6.0.6 on an Ubuntu 8.04 server? That won't work, it's not supported I'm afraid, the earliest supported Ubuntu is 14.04.

I have no clue off the top of my head!
First of all, you should have noticed that there is no VirtualBox 6.x for Ubuntu 8.04 in the Linux Downloads page.
But, VirtualBox 4.2.36 was released on 2015-11-11 and it's definitely not supported!

Damit funktioniert VirtualBox 6.0.6 in zahllosen Installationen.

phpVirtualBox is a program that relies on VirtualBox, but modifies its configuration files in unknown ways to us, and with unknown consequences. It is not supported on these VirtualBox forums/channels, they have their own phpVirtualBox support channels.
If you are having this problem with a standalone version of VirtualBox (after a complete uninstallation of phpVirtualBox), then we can continue this discussion.
