This question puzzle me years: Can I have sound in Guest with Intel HDA controller?
Our multiple PCs run Debian with physical Intel HDA family, and sound system are very solid. Certainly I would like to try emulated Intel HDA with some of my Guest VM run Debian. I have roughly 25% chance to have sound with Debian Guest with Intel HDA. I try almost everything I got in search result, to troubleshoot emulated Intel HDA, with very little gain.
Most of my Debian 9 no sound, Some of my Debian 8 have sound.
Any opinion about this?
