Screen orientation to portrait Mac -> Kali

Post by hirobrad »

I am trying to get my VB to be in portrait mode.

I am running Mac OS with two monitors, one portrait, one landscape.

I am wanting my Virtual Machine running Kali to be in portrait.

However, I can not force VB to display the monitor in portrait mode.

The Kali OS is set up as portrait. The monitor with the OS on is portrait. However, VB is running it in landscape. I have tried to look for a solution, I can not find one at all. I must be searching for the wrong things.

I have included an image to help try and clear up what I am doing.

However do I get VB to run in portrait. Is this possible?

I'm going to move the thread from the "Linux Guests" to the "OSX Hosts", because I think that the problem is the settings with your host.

One monitor or more? The picture doesn't help me a lot actually. Can you tell me the settings on your host Display Settings? Are you starting in full-screen mode?
