Which one? https://download.oracle.com/virtualbox/ ??? Not here...

If you click on a link you get to get redirected to virtualbox.org, that's why...

It's simple; use HTTP... Done! ;)

Actually https://download.oracle.com/virtualbox/ opens. As soon as I click on 6.0.6 for osx I get the error. I can't even type http://download.oracle.com/virtualbox/ in any browser in Mojave.

LOL yes it does. I wish someone would fix the https site. FWIW, I can open the link you posted but I can't type the addy in. It automagically adds the "s".

edit: I can also copy the link you posted and paste it into any addy field which works but I still can't type the URL in.. Weird.

That's your browser, playing it "helpful" as it tries things that you've already visited. Try to either 1) clear the history (wouldn't do it), or 2) remove the "Suggest sites from History", if you have such an option.

But all in all, I expect this glitch to be fixed come Monday morning...

Sounds like your OS is "helping" you by "correcting" your "typo".

Duh me. I must have been typing something incorrectly. All's well that ends well. Of course 6.0.6 won't install for me anyway. Just 6.0.4. Fun. :)

could someone publish here vbox-ext for 6.0.6 linux, please?

Post by Andre84 »

I can not download it from the official website as it is throwing 403 errors to me.
May be someone could attach the extpack to a message or otherwise get it downloadable?

I have the same problem, both the cert error (oracle domain in place of VirtualBox domain that triggers alert) and all the download zones, for packages and apt-get repos, are down (load forever).
