Can you post your specifications aswell?atkhobby wrote:I can add my voice to the "getting panic" list. Same keyboard and touchpad as the OP.

Re: Kernel Panic - Bluetooth, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave (#18107)
Now it just crashed again. I had been working in the host (Win10) for the whole day without issues using external keyboard and trackpad.
I saw that the touchpad was suddenly reported disconnected (batteries are at 80%).
I tried to deliberately avoid the issue by moving to the host on another monitor (I use 2 external + the built-in screen) and wake the touchpad there.
Then I moved the cursor back to the client using the external trackpad and I believe it responded to the touchpad input but I'm not sure.
I did a three-finger swipe to check if it has "survived" but alas the Mac immediately paniced again.
Here is my full spec:

Re: Kernel Panic - Bluetooth, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave (#18107)
Since your process to produce the panic is a bit different from mine, would you be able to check your panic report to see whether it's the same kernel extension (IOBluetoothHIDDriver) that's responsible?
Re: Kernel Panic - Bluetooth, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave (#18107)
It seems what everyone with problems has in common is the A1339 Touchpad or the A1314 Keyboard.

Re: Kernel Panic - Bluetooth, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave (#18107)
I have some additional data that might help.
Earlier this morning I was messing with the video cables to my MacBook and I accidentally unplugged the power.
Some while later the computer suddenly went dark. That is no mystery.
However, it was moments later that I started seeing the keyboard Bluetooth crash.
In fact, the first time it happened, the power was plugged back in but the adapter was still amber
and the status bar was still showing 0% battery level. The crash happened again a few minutes later when
the battery was showing 4%. My battery is back up to 55% now but I am hesitant to crash the machine on purpose.
I guess I will try it once more and get back to you.

Shucks, now that my battery is showing at 77%, there is no more crash.
Things seem stable for now. I will get back to you if I see any more trouble.

As VirtualBox 5.2.22 is a bit old now, do you see the same issue if you upgrade to the current version (5.2.26 or 6.0.4 as I write)?atkhobby wrote:org.virtualbox.kext.VBoxDrv(5.2.22)[D2696352-336F-361B-8717-797487B076F5]@0xffffff7f87943000->0xffffff7f879a6fff

My crystal ball is currently broken. If you want assistance you are going to have to give me all of the necessary information.
Please don't ask me to do your homework for you, I have more than enough of my own things to do.

OP has the exact same problem with the latest version.andyp73 wrote: As VirtualBox 5.2.22 is a bit old now, do you see the same issue if you upgrade to the current version (5.2.26 or 6.0.4 as I write)?
-Andy.
I'm staying at my current version this week as I'm currently working on a customer case that has to be done by Friday and I don't want to "rock the boat" in any way at the moment.
I'll report back if/when I have more crash-stories that may be helpfull.

I updated my Mac OS to 10.14.4, which has a newer com.apple.driver.IOBluetoothHIDDriver(6.0.11f4). No change; the kernel panic still occurs.

Re: Kernel Panic - Bluetooth, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave (#18107)
Just updated to MacOS 10.14.4 (18E226) and the issue still happens
My specs:
Model Identifier: MacBookAir6,2
OSX version: 10.14.4
VirtualBox version(s): 5.2.26
Keyboard model/type: Magic Keyboard A1314 (the one that still uses AA batteries)
Mouse model/type: Magic Mouse A1296 (still AA batteries as well)
Bluetooth: Version 6.0.11f4
List of Bluetooth loaded kexts:
Don't know how to get the list (sorry!)
In my case, to replicate the problem just turning off the keyboard (long press the on/off circular button on the side of the keyboard) wherever the active window is doesn't trigger the kernell panic, but turning on the keyboard again and having the guest window active will trigger succesfully the kernel panic

UPDATE: I've been running for som deays now with the BT keyboard and touchpad disconnected and turned of (batteries out actually) and there have been no crash so far.
Re: Kernel Panic - Bluetooth, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave (#18107)
I don't suppose there is any news on this matter from the development team?

@wndkk
I don't suppose you went through all the posts in the thread, in order to determine what's common to all of them and make a summary out of the whole thread, did you?
The more "focused" a report is, the better chances you have of nailing down a fix. Because on my 10.14.3 (and later) it certainly doesn't crash. But I don't have a Bluetooth accessory like a keyboard/mouse...

Re: Kernel Panic - Bluetooth, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave (#18107)
I have read through all post and to me it seems pretty clear that this is related to BT accessory that is being actively used by the client and that the sleep/wake functions for them is not handled correctly. I cannot see what more can be done in reporting this. We will need a developer with BT keyboard/trackpad though.
