[Resolved] Poor display performance of Windows 10

Post by kleks »

I have a Macbook Pro 2018.
I have installed Windows 10 on the Virtualbox.
Delays during even simple scrolling prevent normal operation (2D and 3d acceleration disabled).
When I turn on "3d acceleration", the subtitles on the screen are drawn on top of each other.
Turned on 2D acceleration also does not help.
What should I do?

Switch the vGPU setting for the guest to VBoxVGA. The other options VBoxSVGA and VMSVGA are new features in VirtualBox 6.0.x and have a few teething troubles.

Thank you very much.
I switched to VBoxVGA and turned on 2D and 3D accelerations.
Now it is much better.

VMSVGA is going to get some time to get all the quirks straightened out...
