Thanks for your answer I know using MacOS on a Windows machine isn't the best thing but I'm trying to do that because my old laptop was a Mac, so I want to save my files from my external hard drive because I had encrypted it for Mac OS. Sorry for my bad english and thank you again for your answer, I hope you can understand my problem.

As these forums are hosted by Oracle we can't be seen to be endorsing or supporting something that is a violation of the Apple Software License Agreement.

If you just want to get files from a HFS+ or APFS formatted external hard drive then I would look to see if the tools from Paragon Software are of any help. There may be issues that arise from the fact that your external hard drive is encrypted.
