I am a first-timer, so I really dont know where to start elsewhere.
When I try to install, it finishes with the following message(warning, I have translated this from norwegian, since my OS is Norwegian):
Installation failed
The installer found an unknown error that caused the installation to fail.
Ask for assistance from the software manufacturer
The only option is "close" so I cannot try to troubleshoot without knowing the first step.
anyone have a clue?

Just an idea... Take a look at Installation fails on 10.13.x, 10.14.x (rc=-1908). See if that helps...
