mac os guest freezes at mouse input & no keyboard activity

Post by Jeteste »

Hi
I installed mac os guest (mojave) on VB/Windows 10.
Works ok (I followed the setup as described here for ex. saintlad dot com/install-macos-sierra-in-virtualbox-on-windows-10/)
It boots and install without apparent problem until initial mac os install page.

However, keyboard doesn't respond and when I try to click with mouse it just freezes. It comes back to the same status after minimizing the vm and open again.

You are trying to run a macOS guest (aka a Hackintosh) under a Windows 10 host on non-Apple hardware. This is not supported and is also a violation of Apple's End User License Agreement (EULA). More details can be found at: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest.

Had you searched around the forums you would have seen that there are many similar threads all of which end up in the same state - locked and consigned to oblivion. Yours will be sent the same way the next time a site admin / mod passes by.

Locking and moving to "OSX Guests" from "Windows Hosts".
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
