i created a mac os vm that worked during install on a physical disk and it worked perfectly until until today vt-x is now reporting it is not available. hyper-v is not installed and google has been no help, and i have found nothing in the forums that has been of any help. i created a new test vm that is empty using a virtual disk that starts just fine. why is this not working, when it worked before, nothing has changed on my system, no updates have been run, and i have no logs from the last successful boot. sorry for run on statements, but i am a stroke survivor, so communication skills are damaged.

From the limited information, you appear to be running a macOS guest (aka a Hackintosh) under a Windows 10 host on non-Apple hardware. This is not supported and is also a violation of Apple's End User License Agreement (EULA). More details can be found at: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest.
Had you searched around the forums you would have discovered that there are many similar threads all of which end the same way - being locked by one of the site mods / admins and yours will be going the same way when one of them next passes by.

Then you should open a new thread on the proper section of the forums, like Linux Guests.netman61270 wrote:i am now having the exact same issue with an ubuntu guest on a different physical disk
