USB EMPTY (and member of vboxusers)

Post by cansinismo »

Hello,

I'm member of vboxusers in Ubuntu 16.04 (4.10.0-40-generic) with Oracle VM Virtualbox Extension Pack installed. But the USB 2.0 dispositives are empty at all y my W8 guest installation.

All the USB's stuffs can be used it in my Ubuntu without any problem!

I wonder how can I fix it Any ideas?

Regards.

Post the guests log file ( as an attachment ). Right click on the guest in the Main Manager then click show log. Save and post as an attachment. Compress if it is too large to post.

You are using the Ubuntu fork ( which we do not support, they do ) and not the official version from VirtualBox plus you are using their extension pack that does not support USB. You can try to install the right extension pack ( must match your current running version ) or consider installing the official version from virtualbox.org.
