Re: virtualbox install Intel(R) Network connections
You do *not* have an Intel PRO (82540OEM) network card in your VM (V=Virtual). You have the one selected from the settings. Do *not* try and install any custom drivers, your VM knows better.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Re: virtualbox install Intel(R) Network connections
Please post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip, and attach the zip here.

Re: virtualbox install Intel(R) Network connections
"Intel Pro/1000 MT Desktop (82540EM)" is the default network card for Win7 64 bit VMs, and does seem to be what you have. It is the default because genuine Win7 installations have native drivers for that card, so you do not need to install any drivers in the guest.
However, you seem to have multiple network cards enabled. Why is that?
Can you zip up the .vbox file for this VM and attach the zip here?
