Hi everyone,
I need to use some Carbon-compliant Professional Applications, so, on my iMac with macOS10.11.6, I've installed Snow Leopard (10.6.0) and Rosetta.
Installation was successful, and everything works fine except for the mouse pointer.
When the mouse pointer is in the virtual machine window area (1024x1068), the cursor image doubles (see enclosed .mp4 file).
There is a real image and a ghost image.
In practice, the two images overlap only in the middle of the window and the distance (offset) increases as you approach the edges of the window.
The version VB on which I installed the OSX virtual machine is 5.1.24 r117012 (Qt5.6.2)
Obviously, with a bit of attention and patience it is possible to work anyway, but it hurts me a bit.
Can anybody give me a hint to solve the problem?

Unfortunately a known problem. See viewtopic.php?f=22&t=82173

Thanks Martin,
I hope the problem will be solved with future VB upgrades.

Or you could try to downgrade to VirtualBox 5.0.34 r113845 as suggested here: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/15610sixtusVM wrote:Thanks Martin,

Re: VB vs OSX Snow Leopard
That means that I have to uninstall actual 5.1.24 version of VB and then reinstall 5.0.34 r113845 version ?
Since I have another virtual machine I use every day, it remains unaltered or is deleted from the uninstallation operation?

It remains unaltered, just like your mp3's would do if you were to change iTunes versions.
