Install issues:
First, to install Virtualbox properly you must right-click the Virtualbox installer program and choose "Run As Administrator" from the right-click menu, even if your account is an administrator account.

Note that the "right-click-run-as-admin" method is not "log off and log back in as administrator". While in my experience it does not matter what account Virtualbox was installed on (forum gurus may or may not agree with this, just my experience), you must "right-click-run-as-admin" on Windows hosts to get a consistent good install, assuming other systems on your PC aren't messed up. Running the installer with a usual double-click under an Admin account will not give you the necessary permissions.

Next, the Virtualbox installer is actually a Microsoft program, which uses the host's "MSI" system. If errors happen in the installation process, you can enable Microsoft's MSI logging and try the installer again (google how to enable MSI logging). If an error occurs, post the MSI log here and on a Microsoft forum. Someone should be able to tell you what the problem is.

I have been running it as admin on an admin account, Here is the link to the MSI log I couldn't attach it because it was too large soo it is in google drive.
And it wouldn't let me add a link because I have not been a member long enough so there is a file attached that has the link to the log which is in google drive

You didn't read the previous message, did you? 1) you right-click, 2) click Run-as-Administrator. Two simple steps.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Thank you 'Mhoff02' for confirming the way that you run the installer. You can't believe how many people don't get it right, even after detailed instructions like 'scottgus1' gave you. Next question. Did you have VirtualBox installed before? Did you uninstall it, or did you do an in-place upgrade? The reason that I'm asking you is the following.

I'm not an expert in MSI log checking, but here's my logic. Searching through the log for "error", the first instance with a non-zero value, is at:
2104: UninstallNetFlt: VBoxNetCfgWinUninstallComponent failed, error = 0x1
2105: MSI (s) (E0!AC) [13:34:57:950]: Closing MSIHANDLE (257) of type 790531 for thread 11948
2106: MSI (s) (E0!AC) [13:34:57:950]: Creating MSIHANDLE (258) of type 790531 for thread 11948
2107: Converting unhandled HRESULT (0x1) to ERROR_GEN_FAILURE
2108: MSI (s) (E0!AC) [13:34:57:950]: Closing MSIHANDLE (258) of type 790531 for thread 11948
2109: MSI (s) (E0!AC) [13:34:57:950]: Creating MSIHANDLE (259) of type 790531 for thread 11948
2110: Uninstalling NetFlt done, error = 0x1f
That tells me that the uninstallation of VirtualBox failed because the net filters could not be uninstalled, 99% because they were in use. In use by what? I have no clue, but I suspect a 3rd party application. From the "Malware bytes" that I noticed in your screenshot, to whatever else you might have installed in your computer that interferes with the system.

So, my suggestion is to 1) reboot, 2) uninstall VirtualBox before running anything else, 3) reboot, 4) re-install as above. See if that works. If not, see what other low-level system-hooking software you might have installed that's preventing the cleanup of the previous installation.

PS. You could have zipped the log... ;)
PS2. You would do yourself a great favor if, as a general practice, you created a 2nd admin account and lower yourself to simple user.

Yeah I had it installed then I tried to update it and it failed so I tried to uninstall it but that kept failing, so I manually deleted it and removed it from the registry. But I think there must be some trace of it left making it fail. I might try booting into safe mode and see what I can fined out. Any other ideas would be appreciated, now that we might know the cause.

P.S.
I don't know why I didn't think of making it into a zip, I zip a lot of things i just didn't think of it I guess.
P.S. 2
Yeah that is a good idea, I might try that.
P.S. 3
I might do some research on msi log checking, it would be a helpful tool to know.

But not from the MSI database of installed programs, that's why it thinks it has to uninstall it first. I'm not on Windows primarily, but I would search for cleaning up the MSI database. Even Microsoft has some tools for that. 3rd party cleaners may exist as well.

Apparently, Microsoft Fix-It is not supported anymore on Windows 10.

I have the same issue, cannot install any version of VirtualBox on Windows 10. I have tried all possible solutions described here, including trying to install without bridged network interfaces and so on. Setup rolls back automatically and presents error message "Oracle VM VirtualBox Setup Wizard ended prematurely" and then "Installation failed!".

It does generate a Windows event with generic error code 1603. In portuguese:
O Windows Installer instalou o produto. Nome do Produto: Oracle VM VirtualBox 5.1.22. Versão do Produto: 5.1.22. Idioma do Produto: 1033. Fabricante: Oracle Corporation. Status de erro ou êxito da instalação: 1603.

I also installed it with verbose logging by running "Virtuabox.exe -extract" and then "msiexec /i Virtualbox.msi /l*v install.log". Log is below.

I would appreciate any help on this.

Windows Error 0x80070005 usually indicates that some Folder/File Permissions (write access) have been 'lost' to the user. Typically this occurs when major Windows OS updates (Creator's Update?) take place with 3rd-Party security applications, or possibly other applications that are integrated into the OS, are active when the Windows update is being installed.

It is usually recommended that such applications should be disabled or uninstalled before Windows system updates are performed as, particularly in the case of anti-viruus/security applications, software updates from the individual suppliers have often been needed to ensure compatibility with the latest Windows release.
