Windows 7 64 ie11 website will reset system
Hi everyone!
My first post.
When I try to load the site below in ie11:
http://www.garigen.se
It will crash the system and virtualbox reboots.
I need to ask if anyone else gets the same problem.
Sincerely
Natt

Natt, it's unlikely a site would crash a system and VirtualBox can't reboot. The site seems fine.
Perhaps you mean something else?

Re: Windows 7 64 ie11 website will reset system
Sorry I mean that VirtualBox does a hard reset and reboots (not crash)
I have been running thousands of sites with no problem.
I'm telling you this site is special.
I was testing a younger fresh clone to eliminate other problems but the reset happen there also.
I suspect there is something malicious on the site and is something new.
The version of IE11 is "11.0.9600.17358"

Re: Windows 7 64 ie11 website will reset system
I'm fairly certain that's not what you mean either. VirtualBox cannot do a hard reset and reboot. I assume you mean your Windows 7 guest.nattsurfaren wrote:Sorry I mean that VirtualBox does a hard reset and reboots (not crash)
With the VM fully shut down, right click its icon in the VirtualBox Manager, select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Re: Windows 7 64 ie11 website will reset system
I do have a Windows 7 guest and the version of IE11 I have is 11.0.9.18907. I'll look at the log. The site loads fine for me.

Re: Windows 7 64 ie11 website will reset system
Yeah
Still this shouldn't occur even if it was previous year?
I will update virtual box now and report back.
Thanks

You are getting hardening errors.

Re: Windows 7 64 ie11 website will reset system
I'm still worried about this.
If it is hardened security and the website trigger something on that.
Wouldn't that be a security issue`?
