Windows 10 VB 5.0.4 bridged network problem

host can ping internet etc, guest can ping internet etc, host cannot ping guest, guest cannot ping host. No Firewalls.

If I go to host network settings and untick IPv6 then all works fine. Until reboot, then I have to go back to host network settings and tick IPv6 and all good again.

So seems just changing network settings makes it work until reboot.

Host network adapter is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller with latest drivers (10.3.723.2015) from Realtek.

This problem was not observed with VB 4.3.X

That's a too general statement. There are some specific issues with bridging, which varies by Windows version. Some issues affect more versions.

For the most part, bridging does work. For example I have VMs (including Windows 10) running on a Windows 7 host in VB 5.0.4 and they can connect to the LAN and the Internet through a bridged network adapter on the host.
