HELP with EBIOS read error: ERROR 0x0c Block 970 Sector 64

Post by xflash08 »

Greetings everyone! it's a pleasure to be using this amazing software! ;) BUT! I have one problem, I created a Virtual Machine with "Other/Unknown" settings for the Guest OS, and assigned 1512Mb of RAM, a Dynamic HDD and 64Mb of Video, I enabled USB, Sound, and Network (with default values). So, when I start the machine it gives me this error:

Code: Select all

EBIOS read error: ERROR 0x0c
Block 970 Sector 64
So, what does this means?! How do I fix it??
Thanks everyone!

Hi

I managed to clear this by enabling the 'passthrough' option on the CDROM Drive

Hope this helps

This also happens when you dont unmount the cd/dvd and it points to another disc.

When starting the OS in the menu click devices->CD/DVD->unmount and then restart the OS.
