[Fixed] openSUSE 10.3 dyn.res.resizing
Host: Win7 x64 + BETA2
Guest: openSUSE 10.3 Linux + KDE3 + GA BETA2.
Dyn.Resolution Resizing no longer works !
It worked with GA 4.3.26 and 4.1.6, of course.

Rather unhelpfully it works fine here. I will provide a debug build of the vboxvideo driver - perhaps you could put that on the guest and then provide the resulting xorg.0.log log file?

Works for me. Windows 8.1 host, OpenSUSE 13.2 + Gnome. Also works on OSX host.

Yeah, this build fixed the problem for openSUSE 10.3 guest ! Thanks.
There is a small mouse lock-up after GA install, and before reboot. But it's a separate issue.
What was the problem ?

Due to a change in the code we were overwriting these values again too early.

Re: [Regression] openSUSE 10.3 dyn.res.resizing
I suddenly feel lost. I thought dyn.res.resizing referred to dragging a guest's window and the resolution following the window size. Is that not correct? As I mentioned above my OpenSUSE 10.3.2 guests resize correctly on both my OSX and Windows 8.1 hosts running VB 5.0b2.
Or am I truly lost?

10.3.2 or 13.2? This only affects certain very old guests like openSUSE 10.3, specifically guests with X.Org Server 1.3. It was a bug introduced on Feb 15 2007 and fixed on May 30 of that year:loukingjr wrote:As I mentioned above my OpenSUSE 10.3.2 guests resize correctly on both my OSX and Windows 8.1 hosts running VB 5.0b2.
