[4.3.2] breaks autologon

Post by ucrasher »

Hi,
have been using autologon since years.
After upgrading the guest additions to 4.3.2 it fails.
Instead of login, it stays in the login screen and shows an extra user icon with the name of the user provided by the VBoxManage controlvm setcredentials command.
Manuall logon with the right icon works (left does not).
This happend on two Win7 VMs. With the old 4.2.18 guest additions it was fine with already running 4.3.2.
Host is running Ubuntu 12.04.

I reinstalled the guest additions with /with_autologon in case the upgrade from 4.2 to 4.3 needs that again. Did not change it.
The log file does not show any login steps.

These kinds of problems that are reproducible should be reported to bugtracker. If you have not signed on to Bugtracker before you will need to select a new Nickname to be able to report issues.
It would also help if you can post the ticket number here so other can see the progress, add information, or see the final results.

Would you mind changing the original post's title to "[SOLVED] [4.3.2] breaks autologon" as well? TIA
