How to install on a Linux host?

Hi all


I´m new on Linux and don´t wan´t to be without
Windows for the first time, so I downloaded VBox 1.4.
But how can I install the Vbox14.586.rpm.run file?
The only Linux software I´ve ever iinstallde was
an real .rpm file.

Can anybody help the Linux noob?
