It seems that guest-additions are not well functioning in text-mode.
I have "gpm" service installed in the guest-OS so I can copy-paste internally, but I cannot copy-paste text between host and guest (and vice-versa).
Another little yet annoying problem is that the mouse is never auto-released by the guest-OS. Once the mouse is captured it must be manually released with the "Host key".
My current workaround is to minimize the virtualbox and use an SSH client for windows to interact with the guest-OS, but this solution requires to configure the ports in the NAT and install SSH server in the linux.
Is there any more direct solution ?
thnx
I use-
VirtualBox: 1.6.0
Host OS: WinXP
Guest OS: Linux Ubuntu 7.10 or 8.04 in text-mode only with "gpm" service installed.
