access to external drive

I'm with osX 10,2 and vb 1,6,0.

My guest os is win2000.

So on my mac I have 3 externals fiwerwires drives connects.

I setup sharing folder for 2 of these fw drives. One is hfs+ the other ntfs (via macfuse).

So when inside my win session, I saw my 2 drives with entire network where I saw "VB share folders". I can browse, copy on my desktop or others place... my files on these drives...

But, when trying to attach these drives I receive and error messages saying "Impossible of finding the network path" (Impossible de trouver le chemin d'accès réseau). But it is the same that explorer give me when browsing.

Do the problem in windows to map a drive letter inside virtual box... a bug, a limitation of vb with external fw drive?

Can I workaround this... for now... I put my fw drives share in my mac... and I select these drives in sharing folder in vb.... maybe it's not the right way to do that...
