No host-only network adapter is selected

Post by 14f13 »

Hello,

I've got some problem with networking on my virtual machine, managed to import appliance but in settings for Network, where I have to choose Host-only adapter I can't select any name, there's just 'not selected' which generates error 'on the network adapter 1 page, no host-only network adapter is selected'. I suppose I don't got any VM-networking card installed but I no idea how to get around this... Below I present result of 'dpkg -l | grep virtualbox'. Question ofcourse is: how do I fix it?

HOST: Deban Squeeze 2.6.32-5-686
GUEST: some DebianMini

Code: Select all

rc virtualbox-4.1 4.1.4-74291~Debian~squeeze Oracle VM VirtualBox
iF virtualbox-ose 3.2.10-dfsg-1 x86 virtualization solution - base binaries
