[FIXED] BSOD Win 7 64bit - VBoxUSBMon.sys

Post by ESP »

Hello,

unfortunately I get a Bluescreen when I want to start Virtualbox 4.1.0 concerning the VBoxUSBMon.sys.
On my Notebook everything works fine, so it doesn't seem to be a regular problem.
I attached two memory dumps, maybe it helps.

Thanks a lot

Same problem here.

Could it be a problem related to AMD chipsets?

To all having USBMon-related BSODs please try the test build with the fix:
http://www.virtualbox.org/download/test ... tiArch.exe
and let me know whether the issue is fixed for you

Won't install. I get: "The cabinet file 'common.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading for the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."

Windows 7 64-bit. Can't try XP yet, as I don't want to BSOD my PC remotely.

I'll try downloading it again and see if it installs. Maybe the download is corrupt.

Just verified that the linked build also works on XP SP3. No more BSOD.
