4.0.4 crash

Post by dtstoner »

When I use VirtualBox with Windows 2000, I have had my MacBook crash a number of times. It always happens when I have Virtual Box open and here is the report below. Any suggestions? Thanks. Doug

Re: 4.0.4 crash

I had recently transferred the VM from another MacBook so that maybe a problem. I did just notice that one of the shared folders did not exist on the new machine. Otherwise for settings I have a base memory of 784 MB (I have 4 GB in my MacBook), Video Memory is 10 MB, Audio is CoreAudio with a controller of ICH AC97, Network is the PCnet-FAST III (NAT).

I also installed .NET 1.1 on the VM since a program for uploading pictures needed it. I was having trouble installing .NET 2.0 as it said it could not update it. So I just have .NET 1.1 now.

Hope that is enough info for you. Thanks.
