4.0.4 Virtualbox dialogs look TERRIBLE on Solaris 10

Post by studio »

Hi I use VirtualBox on Linux WIndows and Solaris hosts. It is great! Anyway I am having a big problem with 4.0.4 installed on a clean Solaris 10u8 system. The VirtualBox dialogs display so bad you can almost not even read them! Does anybody know why this is happening. Please give me some advice because I can't see the dialogs....its almost impossible to use without going blind ;) Thank you.

You can use the VBoxManage command in console and run VirtualBox in headless mode (from a remote system). That would shortcut any gui-issues you might have.

In other words, don't fix the problem, just cover it up. Sounds too much like a political solution.

File a bug report if you want a fix.

"Please give me some advice because I can't see the dialogs..."

This forum is for user suggested support/workaround. Mrpink is trying to help. If you want help, try not to bit those that offer it.

Bug reports get official and solid support IMHO. Kudos to the support team.
