Unable to install Extension Pack

Post by Mintopia »

I have installed VirtualBox 4.0.2 on a Compaq Presario Windows Vista host that was the current GNU version when installed.
I have a Linux Mint 10 guest with 4.0.2 PEUL Guest Additions installed.

When I tried to install the extension pack version 4.0.2 I ran into a problem the agreement buttons on the license are grayed out making it impossible to install the package. Also, install Extension Pack is not listed under Devices in VirtualBox.
Agreement buttons are grayed out.

I had the same result with VirtualBox 4.0 and reinstalled VirtualBox and the guest several times

I have not tried version 4.04 yet. Can anyone help?

Hopefully, Mintopia.

Actually it's the usual bout of corporate nonsense that equates "reading" with "scrolling down"... no real reading required.
