mount an already installed os?

Post by coolgenes »

my computer is dual booted MS Win7 and Ubuntu 10.04. I found that I rarely use the windows now that I am becoming proficient with linux but there are certain things I still find I have to do in MS. I no longer want to restart the computer out of linux and login to Wn. so I installed VB v3.2.8 and was thinking, before I install a whole new Win7 is there any way that I can connect VB to the one that already exists?
Thanks

ok, but what am I looking for? I'm not really good with this terminology. Is this the correct tutorial for connecting an already installed win installation to a vbox within linux? HOWTO: Mount any VBox-compatible disk image on the host (http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=33355)
