I have a Ubuntu/ Win XP dual boot machine. It currently has both ubuntu and XP on one had drive and a second hard drive, formatted NTFS, that holds data (mp3's, docs, pics, etc). I would like to be able to use Ubuntu for the most part but occasionally I want to use WinXP and would like it to have access to the secondary hard drive. Is there anyway to pass control fo th drive to the guest. Or am I going to have to package the drive into a .vdi or .vdmk file?
I would like to keep it separate so I can boot into WinXP alone if I need to do some maintenance, or something, and still have access to the drive. I have tried in the virtual disk manager to get it to work but I have had no luck.
Any Ideas?
