VirtualBox vs. Parallels vs. VMWare Fusion?
What kind of advantages does virtualbox give me in comparison to using Parallels or VMWare Fusion on Mac OS X? Thanks in advance

I can tell you I have tried all three and they all have their own issues. I can also tell you that, VirtualBox seems to run more OS's than the other two... and it's free

Re: VirtualBox vs. Parallels vs. VMWare Fusion?
I've been very happy with Virtualbox for the simple reason that I feel "platform independent". I use both Linux, Windows and Solaris systems and I am able to copy/migrate/use virtual images between all three systems.bobalandi wrote:What kind of advantages does virtualbox give me in comparison to using Parallels or VMWare Fusion on Mac OS X? + for Fusion though: iSight works in Windows guests. I am having real trouble with this under Virtualbox; would be nice to know why.
